Church of San Biagio


The church was built in 1887. It has a central nave and two aisles and the walls are part exposed and part plastered. The central nave has a vaulted ceiling on transverse arches wide sails at the windows. The aisles are connected to the nave by means of deep archways in the perimeter walls of the original 15th-16th century church. The apse has a hemispherical vault and simple lesenes, a feature repeated in the facade. The apse is closed with a triangular tympanum with a painted niches. There are another two secondary niches and the entrance doorway has a curvilinear tympanum. The belfry is divided into four levels with rectangular reflecting panels and is surmounted by the bell chamber open on four sides with lancet arches.
