Church of San Giovanni Battista

The nucleus is of Roman origin; it later became a monastic grange of the charterhouse; the place is practically derelict. Grange means a farm annexed to a religious community and comes from the French word for granary, “grange”. To the south of the village there is a small cemetery and the church of San Giovanni Battista.
