Church of San Michele Arcangelo

An imposing structure built in the 17th century to replace the pre-existing church which Cardinal Federico Borromeo had found wanting during his pastoral visits. Inside, there is a Madonna with Child attributed to Marco d’Oggiono of the Leonardo School (this is a copy of the original which is kept at the Dioscesan Museum of Milan). There is also an 18th century painting by Sebastiano Conca of Sant’Andrea embracing the cross.
