Church of San Siro


The parish church of San Siro is extremely old, almost a thousand years old, even though its present appearance dates back to the times of Cardinal Carlo Borromeo. It has some 15th century frescoes and a Madonna with Child after Leonardo, a copy of the Madonna with Saint Anne now in the Louvre. The belfry was designed by Luigi Cagnola. It a parish of the diocese of Milan. The church of San Siro has been listed as part of the glebe of Rosate since the 13th century.
