Palazzo Beccaria Lattuada
Constructed in the Neoclassical style at the end of the 18th century, this villa was the country residence of the Milanese Beccaria family. Famous guests included Cesare Beccaria, Alessandro Manzoni, Cesare Cantù and Massimo d’Azeglio. After 1946, renovation work was begun which almost completely erased the glories of the past. In the courtyard there is still a statue of Cesare Beccaria dressed as an ancient Roman.
