Palazzo Sironi Marelli

This unfinished Palace dates back to the 1800s, and was intended by Giacomo Bordini, the administrator of the Litta family, as a grandiose extension to his 18th century home which had once belonged to the Crivellis. Lack of financial resources meant that the transformation went no further in reality than the gardens, perhaps designed by Giuseppe Balzaretto who created the Giardini Pubblici in Milan, and the stables which are, oddly enough, in the Moorish style. It is now in private hands.
