Town Hall

This building in the 16th century style is a genuine example of Lombard Renaissance architecture and retains part of the entrance with three block arches on serizzo columns with capitals decorated with coats of arms. The interior has graffito decorations of losanges and floral motifs; the meeting room has a fresco from 1478 of the Virgin and Child, after a “strappo technique”. The property originally belonged to the Marquis Stampa di Soncino, then passed to the Viscontis and finally to the Cavallotti family which in 1887 sold it to the Town Hall.
