In its present form, the villa dates back to the 18th century. Situated on a terrace overlooking the Naviglio Grande, it was one of the most luxurious canal villas in the entire Milan area. There is a magnificent series of steps leading down to the Naviglio which was actually once the main entrance to the building. The palace is H-shaped and the main block has a ground floor, a mezzanine and a first floor, while the buildings around the courtyard are lower in height. After a number of changes of ownership the villa is now practically derelict. It is currently private property.
