NavigaMi is the Milan nautical fair organised by Navigli Lombardi. Following the success of the first three editions, from 10th to 12th May the event will bring together the cream of Italian boatyards up to 12 metres in length. A floating salon where visitors can board the boats and try them out on the waters of the Naviglio Grande. After over 60 thousand visitors to the previous editions, Milan once again takes the title of the Italian city that is most passionate about sailing. But the event is not only about shipbuilding. Visitors will find plenty of space devoted to accessories, sailing schools, charter companies for boat hire and temporary shops for nautical clothing. During the three days of the event the area of the Ripa and the Alzaia del Naviglio Grande will turn into one great harbour in the city. And this year too there will be the area NavigaMi Kids, a space dedicated exclusively to kids from 7 to 14 years old. Here the youngest sailors can experience the excitement of piloting the school dinghies of the Italian Motorboat Federation and come on board the sailing simulators of the Italian Sailing Federation. Or else they can take part in lessons on the nautical arts held by the Milan branch of the Lega Navale Italiana. Or have a go at rowing with the instructors of the clubs Canottieri Milano, Olona and San Cristoforo or go down the Naviglio with the Italian Rafting Federation.
Like the previous editions, NavigaMI will remain open over the three days from 10 in the morning to 10 in the evening so that the entire city has an opportunity to see the Naviglio in this new light.
